TIMES-PICAYUNE
by Susan Langenhennig, The Times-Picayune – Feb. 7, 2011
Husband and wife fashion designers Michele Bernard and Magid Mehrabadi are swinging back through New Orleans this month, with racks filled with the newest looks from their Los Angeles-based label Magid Bernard.
The couple – who launched Magid Bernard in New Orleans way back when, before moving west in 1989 — will hold a trunk show by appointment in their suite at the Windsor Court Hotel, Feb. 19-22.
Bernard, a New Orleans native, and Mehrabadi have a devoted local following. Their twice annual trunk shows here are as much a chance for the designers to catch up on all the New Orleans news as they are a way to share their latest work.
If you aren’t familiar with their luxe suiting and bias-cut dresses, check out magidbernard.com.
